Established in 1958, Monarch is a premier nonprofit organization that provides innovative support to thousands of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental illness and substance use disorders in North Carolina. With approximately 600,000 patient encounters annually, Monarch offers quality, person-centered services and treatment to nearly 30,000 people to help them learn, grow, work and heal. Monarch is accredited by The Joint Commission. The organization operates The Arc of Stanly County, which is a chapter of The Arc of North Carolina and The Arc of the United States. unc health southeastern

UNC Health Southeastern, which is licensed for 452 beds, is a comprehensive healthcare system that offers an array of services through its affiliated divisions. The medical center is accredited by DNV-GL Healthcare and offers a combination of acute care, intensive care and psychiatric services to more than 13,000 inpatients and 60,000 emergency patients annually. As a nonprofit organization, UNC Health Southeastern is operated by a local board of trustees whose only remuneration is the assurance it is making quality healthcare available for its community. There are more than 135 physicians on the active medical staff. UNC Health Southeastern is still the only hospital in Robeson County and serves patients throughout southeastern North Carolina.

Overlake Medical Center & Clinics

Overlake Medical Center & Clinics is an award-winning, nonprofit, independently operated regional medical center. We care deeply for our patients, as well as for the region we serve. Our top-notch health care providers and nurses deliver superb clinical care while fostering an environment that is inviting, nurturing and one of healing. Overlake Medical Center is a 349-bed, nonprofit regional hospital offering a full range of advanced medical services to the Puget Sound region. Led by a volunteer Board of Directors, Overlake employs nearly 2,500 people and has more than 1,000 active and courtesy physicians on staff. The hospital is the only Level III Trauma Center in eastern Puget Sound. The hospital is distinguished for its cardiac services and its award winning surgical services. We have been ranked as one of the top 100 heart care programs in the country and are rated as a top performer in the state of Washington. The hospital has received many awards and recognitions, both regionally and nationally. Overlake was originally started in 1960 by community volunteers, and still depends upon volunteers to support the operations of the hospital.
