Ambition Angels

Ambition Angels is a tech-based nonprofit with a unique and nationally scalable model: instead of relying on an adult staff to develop teens, we leverage technology to empower teens to develop themselves through our high-quality, gamified curriculum - all in their native digital language - on an app. Students have the autonomy to choose from a library of bite-sized, culturally relevant content on topics like managing stress, financial literacy, and time and task management; skills critical to thriving, but that aren't taught in schools.

The mission of the Fremont, California Chamber of Commerce is to promote, support and enhance a positive business environment. We host public policy forums, with topics relating to school, transportation, housing and technology. We produce the annual Fremont Festival of the Arts, which is the largest free street fair west of the Mississippi; the Burger & Brew Fest, which celebrates local craft breweries and a charity food competition, the Burger Throw Down; and Fremont Street Eats, a popular summertime food truck event. AchieveKids

AchieveKids provides dynamic and innovative education services for students in special education. Through a community of acceptance and respect, AchieveKids specializes in creating learning for students’ with severe emotional, learning, and/or developmental disabilities. Our dedicated teachers, behavioral health team, speech therapists, and paraprofessionals work collaboratively to create opportunity and independence in the lives of our students. This interdisciplinary team is a skillful problem solving group that instructs and guides students toward greater independence and self-reliance, enabling a path to a brighter future. With campuses in Palo Alto and San Jose, we serve multiple school districts and charters throughout the Bay. A WASC accredited school, AchieveKids is a learning organization, where all of our community learns and grows. AchieveKids believes in creating a path to a brighter future. Success within our school and community is wonderful, but we need to strive for more, helping to create opportunity in the lives of our students beyond our doors. AchieveKids creates a school culture of learning, growing, reflection, and individual and community improvement. To accomplish this task, AchieveKids utilizes the Learning for Life goals. We work to create Awareness, to develop a sense of Advocacy, to nurture one’s Ability to learn, and to enhance an individual’s Agility. We meet our kids where they are and we take our kids where they need to go. Together we Achieve!

Orphans to Ambassadors

Our Mission: "Orphans to Ambassadors provides disadvantaged and orphaned children the opportunity to rise out of poverty with sustainable education and practices. The skills, knowledge, and abilities that come from developing their own long-term resource solutions empower children and allow them to become ambassadors of goodwill and sustainability to other children and communities around the world" – Jake Gentry, Founder About Us: We are a young nonprofit working with orphans and sustainable technology to create cleaner futures. Not only do the technology, education, and practices give children cleaner water and food, brighter and safer energy, and more free time to be kids, we're also creating renewable foundations in developing countries where any growth means more technology: the cleaner now the better tomorrow. What We Do: Orphans to Ambassadors is making green ideas and technology work in orphanages around the world. We've tapped nature by storing rainwater, halved energy budgets with better-burning brick stoves, and brought 10 more hours to the day for studying and play with LED Lights and small solar panels.
