Colorado Center on Law and Policy

Colorado Center on Law and Policy is a non-profit advocacy organization dedicated to the vision that every Coloradan should have what they need to succeed. Standing with diverse communi-ties, organizations, and individuals, we are but one piece of the rising movement to fight pov-erty in our state. We serve our fellow Coloradans using the powers of legal advocacy, legislative advocacy, coalition building, community engagement, research, and analysis. CCLP is a leader in the advocacy community. We provide policymakers, opinion leaders, nonprofit organizations and the general public with research and education about issues of import to lower-income Coloradans; we advocate in the legislature and before executive decision makers on behalf of those issues, and we litigate them when necessary. CCLP provides: • Research and independent legal and policy analysis. • Education and civic engagement with diverse communities. • Advocacy on behalf of lower-income Coloradans. • Litigation and legal action for systemic change. OUR MISSION: The Colorado Center on Law and Policy advances the health, economic security and wellbeing of low-income Coloradans through research, education, advocacy and litigation. OUR GOALS: CCLP works for policies and programs that advance the following goals on behalf of low-income Coloradans: • Fostering family economic security • Increasing access to affordable, quality health care • Promoting responsible and equitable fiscal policies

Environmental Advocates of New York

Environmental Advocates of New York is the leading environmental government watchdog in Albany and your voice for the environment, conservation, wildlife, and public health in New York State. Since 1969, we have been at the center of every major environmental battle in New York and have grown to more than 11,000 members statewide. Our work is critical. Every day in the state capital, decisions are made that have lasting consequences for the health of all New Yorkers. Environmental Advocates is ever-vigilant, monitoring state government’s actions, advocating for the policies and practices that will protect our shared environment, and defeating regressive measures that seek to roll back hard-won conservation victories.

We aim to build and implement a community-driven, data-informed action plan. We are engaging directly with community members and community leaders to gather fresh ideas generated through conversation, reflection, and collaborative planning. Active Retirement Ireland

Active Retirement Ireland (ARI) is a voluntary organisation for older people with a national membership of over 24,500 people and over 550 local associations. Members age range from 50 -100 years and cover a range of socio-economic backgrounds. The organisation is run by voluntary committees at local, regional and national level giving approximately 4200 volunteers. All the activities are aimed at keeping older people active and well. Active Retirement Associations are a lifeline for many older people who would otherwise feel isolated and lonely.
