ITAVFoundation

The ITAVFoundation is focused on supporting the inner-city community of Philadelphia by increasing access to quality education and supporting vulnerable communities affected by social issues. ITAVF's goal is to partner with organizations and communities who have demonstrated a track record of success in their commitment to serving vulnerable populations. ITAVF works closely with educators to ensure that youth have the provisions to attain a quality education and succeed in school and for them to be more involved in the creative arts. ITAVF builds meaningful partnerships with homeless centers and shelters, as well as drug rehabilitation programs, the health department and communities on the ground to implement projects and strategies for reducing the impact of social issues. ITAVF projects may include but are not limited to feeding the homeless, providing personal hygiene products and HIV testing. Our continued focus on education will create increased access to quality education and involvement in arts opportunities for youth. Through our approach to education, ITAVF will create programs within the community to help reduce the likelihood to fall into even deeper cycles of poverty.

Children's Scholarship Fund Philadelphia

Children's Scholarship Fund Philadelphia (CSFP) is a privately-funded program whose mission is to provide children from under-resourced Philadelphia families with financial access to quality, safe, K-8th grade, tuition-based schools, thereby increasing their long-term economic and social success. CSFP grants need-based scholarships to children from low-income Philadelphia families, all of which are awarded by random lottery. Your business can get involved with CSFP by volunteering, sponsoring an event or learning about how to use your PA tax liability to fund scholarships for low-income children. CSFP is now the largest provider of K-8th grade scholarship support in PA. Since 1999, CSFP has awarded over 28,500 scholarships to children in need of quality elementary education. CSFP scholarships provide children from under-resourced families with the financial assistance they need in order to attend quality tuition-based schools, and our program yields great outcomes for students. Current CSFP students attend school over 96% of the time and consistently surpass their peers by achieving at or above grade level in math and reading on standardized tests. CSFP alumni maintain a 96% on-time high school graduation rate (compared to a Philadelphia public high school graduation rate of 60%). CSFP scholarships are in great demand.
