AgeGuide

Chartered in 1974, AgeGuide is a non-profit agency dedicated to combining resources, leadership and expertise on aging in DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kankakee, Kendall, Lake, McHenry and Will counties. We are one of over 600 such agencies throughout the country, created by Congress, to implement the Older Americans Act and coordinate a wide variety of services for persons 60 and over. We provide an effective link between local, state and national programs and services for older adults and are dedicated to connecting a vast network of senior providers to those who need them. Older Americans Act Services includes Meals on Wheels, Case Management, Information and Assistance, Family Caregiver Support, Legal Services, and much more. AgeGuide works to give at-risk elders the opportunity to stay in their own homes with dignity and safety and advocates and collaborates with communities to prepare seniors and families for aging. Our Responsibility: Our mission is we to strive to make aging easier through the development and promotion of a network of services for older persons designed to optimize the quality of their lives. Our most cherished belief is that all older persons should be respected for their individual value, dignity and contributions to society and that their autonomy and privacy must be protected.

TN Infrastructure Alliance

TN Infrastructure Alliance (TIA) is Tennessee's advocate for adequate infrastructure. Even as a growing population creates demands on our limited resources, the commitment to maintain and improve Tennessee's infrastructure is uncertain. At this critical time, it is important that our policymakers be made aware that Tennessee's future prosperity depends on that commitment. TIA works to ensure that commitment. Through targeted activities, TN Infrastructure Alliance brings awareness to current deficiencies in the state's infrastructure system. By educating policymakers on needs of the future and the gap of current funding levels, TIA helps Tennessee to accommodate growth and promote commerce and safety. The prosperity of our state depends on adequate infrastructure investments by our government leadership. As a grassroots coalition and membership organization, TIA provides the framework for businesses, associations, individuals, and community organizations with an interest in sufficient infrastructure to join together.

Interfaith Dental

The mission of Interfaith Dental is to create a healthier community by providing transformational oral health care for those experiencing poverty. The organization’s goals are: To increase employability and work attendance by lessening pain and improving appearance; To educate patients about proper oral hygiene and nutrition so that they can keep their teeth for a lifetime and pass good habits onto family members; To improve patients’ oral health, thereby improving self-esteem, quality of life and overall well-being. Founded in 1994, Interfaith Dental provides dental treatment, oral disease prevention and oral health education in a safe and caring environment for eligible residents of ten Tennessee counties - Bedford, Cannon, Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Robertson, Rutherford, Sumner, Williamson and Wilson.
