Demeter USA

Demeter Association, Inc. is the United States' representative of Demeter International. We are a not-for-profit incorporated in 1985 with the mission to enable people to farm successfully, in accordance with Biodynamic® practices and principles. Demeter's vision is to heal the planet through agriculture. GOALS In order to meet our mission, Demeter's work is divided into six areas, or strategic objectives. They are: TEACH- Help people understand, embrace, and capitalize on Biodynamic practices and principles. GROW- Increase the supply of Biodynamic products through business development initiatives. MARKET- Enhance our members' economic viability by encouraging demand for Biodynamic products. PROTECT- Protect the Biodynamic certification marks through proactive education and enforcement activities. ADVOCATE- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to efforts that protect farmers, foster sustainable farming, and promote ecological agriculture as an environmental and social solution to the multitude of challenges that humanity currently faces. MANAGE- Ensure that Demeter has the resources to achieve its mission and these objectives by effectively managing our certification office, creating additional resources, ensuring excellent standards, and developing our board to meet the challenges and opportunities presented through our first five objectives.

FACT Oregon

FAMILY AND COMMUNITY TOGETHER (DBA FACT Oregon) empowers families and youth to navigate and advocate for the supports and opportunities people with disabilities need to thrive at home, in school, and in community. Peer-delivered services are free for families and include a Support Line, trainings, resources, outreach, and advocacy. FACT Oregon is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in good standing with the State of Oregon, EIN 36-4533809.

Arts Central

Arts Central, as the Regional Arts and Culture Council for Central Oregon, provides arts services to the communities, artists and arts organizations in Deschutes, Jefferson and Crook counties. Arts Central receives support from the Oregon Arts Commission for these services. Our purpose is to inspire creativity through arts education and to advocate for integration of the arts in all aspects of community life in Central Oregon. We accomplish our purpose through four distinct initiatives: advocacy, arts education, public art, and cultural trust. We are able to provide arts education to our community through programs like our education + resource center, Art Station, VanGo, and Artists in Schools residencies.

The mission of Nonprofit-Facilitator is to freely(*) share our management knowledge with startup and small charitable nonprofit organizations. (*) Freely: (a) without restrictions and (b) without fees. To support this mission, we also provide for-fee services to established nonprofits and for-fee website services. We provide facilitation services to help organizations with strategic planning, teambuilding, staff meetings and retreats, and critical board meetings. We provide free volunteer facilitation services to organizations in the Greater Portland, Oregon metropolitan area. We provide for-fee facilitation services in the Pacific Northwest, and for-fee website services nationwide.
