HRMA, committed to providing leadership in HR excellence, is the foremost professional association for those involved in the business of people. HRMA is a member association of Chartered Professionals in Human Resources Canada (CPHR Canada). In collaboration with our provincial colleagues across the country, we contribute to setting the national standards for the Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation. As the certifying body of the Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation in BC and the Yukon, the association is responsible for upholding industry standards and is dedicated to advancing professional people practices. Over the past seven decades HRMA has grown to include more than 5,700 members encompassing CEOs, Directors of HR, consultants, educators, students, HR generalists, and small-business owners. The association is a democratic organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors elected by the membership. HRMA, the largest HR association in Western Canada, offers professional development and networking opportunities including workshops, symposia, roundtables, events, and an annual conference & tradeshow.

Vancouver Chinatown Foundation

The Vancouver Chinatown Foundation is a registered charity founded in 2011. The organization is characterized by a spirit of entrepreneurship, innovation and a passion to help the revitalization of Chinatown, one of Canada’s most iconic neighborhoods and the historic heart of Vancouver. The Foundation is dedicated to building a more resilient and inclusive community by promoting the well-being of those in need, while preserving Chinatown’s irreplaceable cultural heritage. Our ongoing projects focus on creating a lasting positive impact such as affordable housing, seniors housing, and cultural and economic development.

Pacific Centre Family Services Association

Pacific Centre Family Services Association (PCFSA) has been delivering high quality child, youth, adult, and family-based services since 1968. From our current community-based locations in Colwood, Langford, and Sooke on South Vancouver Island, we provide a range of services across the Capital Regional District. These include work with individuals addressing family violence, youth outreach and email counselling, youth gang and sexual exploitation prevention and intervention, family and couples counselling, supportive counselling to address substance use issues, mental health counselling, and trauma therapy. Since June 2022, PCFSA has also been operating a Community Health Centre (CHC), which provides team based primary health care for individuals, and their families, who have experienced barriers to accessing medical care. Many of the patients accessing care through the CHC have mental health and/or substance use disorders. PCFSA’s professionally trained staff include Registered Clinical Counsellors, Registered Social Workers, Youth and Family Counsellors, Community Health Workers, Registered Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Family Physicians, and an Elder in Residence. As a registered non-profit society, PCFSA is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors comprised of members of the community. In addition to our approximately 50 staff and 25 volunteers, we are a teaching facility with medical residents, nursing and social work students, and intern counsellors.

Conconi Family Foundation is a private family foundation with an aim to inspire lasting change and transform our communities. We do so by a way of grants and partnerships and with a great sense of responsibility to leave the world a better place than we found it.

Community Social Services Health and Safety Association of British Columbia

What started as a pilot project, and a joint undertaking of the Federation of Community Social Services of BC, CSSEA, and WorkSafeBC under the auspices of the Innovation and Sustainability Roundtable, has now become an independent, non-profit with the support of the CSS sector. The CSSHSA provides support and delivers health and safety information, education, and resources to employers and employees (unionized and non-unionized) of our membership. We engage the CSS sector to implement best practices in health, safety and well-being. And we continue to build industry partnerships to improve the health and safety culture of the sector.
