Robexco est née de l’innovation, celle d’une équipe au sein du groupe Refraco qui a entamé un ambitieux virage numérique en 2020. Refraco opérait des processus manuels non « connectés » autant au niveau des chantiers, des services, que de son usine de production. Suite à une revue des processus, beaucoup d’efforts ont été déployés afin d’intégrer des technologies numériques du type ERP, historien, automatisation industrielle et cellules robotiques. La technologie RBR, Robot Briqueteur Refraco, est issue de cette équipe de passionnés, qui aujourd’hui supporte Refraco dans ses développements technologiques en plus d’intégrer la robotique dans des procédés complexes au bénéfice des PME. Ce Spin off a été baptisé Robexco. Une transformation numérique apporte inévitablement quelques changements au niveau organisationnel. L’idée derrière Robexco est de faire profiter les PME Québécoises de l’expérience acquise dans le processus de cette transformation numérique. Robexco agit à titre d’intégrateur, autant pour le choix et l’intégration de technologies de procédés en priorisant la robotique et les systèmes intégrés de gestion de données, qu’au niveau organisationnel en offrant l’assistance à l’amélioration des processus et la gestion du changement.
