CAEL

CAEL was founded to help organizations succeed by providing expertise, resources, and solutions that effectively support adult learners as they navigate on- and off-ramps between education and employment. We partner with entities across the adult learner ecosystem to help create actionable career pathways along the journey of lifelong learning and meaningful work. Our Vision Every adult can navigate lifelong learning and career pathways that fuel social mobility and community prosperity. Our Mission CAEL engages with educators, employers, and community leaders to align learning and work so that adults achieve academic and career success and their communities benefit from broad economic growth. Our History CAEL was founded in 1974 on the principle that adult learners should be met where they are and that their experience in getting there can create college-level learning. It may be hard to imagine today, but at the time, adult learners were on the sidelines of postsecondary education. Largely overlooked within the “first time, full time” mindset that prevailed then, they were expected to fit their schedules around what higher ed had to offer, not the other way around. As CAEL led a paradigm shift toward recognized learning and became a catalyst for increasing the quality of postsecondary education for all students. To complement its pioneering work to support adult learners and learning recognition, in the 1990s CAEL expanded its mission to include workforce development and the mutually beneficial links between curricula and careers that are so vital to the success of learners and the communities they live and work in. Through collaboration with educators, employers, and community leaders, CAEL’s nonprofit mission has become a national movement. Today, CAEL supports adult learner success at at more than 300 postsecondary institutions, employers, and government agencies in the U.S. and abroad.

DECA Inc.

With over a 75-year history, DECA has impacted the lives of more than ten million students, educators, school administrators and business professionals since it was founded in 1946. Their strong connection with our organization has resonated into a brand that people identify as a remarkable experience in the preparation of emerging leaders and entrepreneurs. DECA’s programs and activities have constantly evolved as we use the latest technology and apply cutting edge educational research. Our core focus has remained consistent and is captured in our mission. DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe. DECA is organized into two unique student divisions each with programs designed to address the learning styles, interest and focus of its members. The High School Division includes more than 250,000 members in 3,900 schools. The Collegiate Division (formerly known as Delta Epsilon Chi) includes over 4,000 members in over 180 colleges and universities. DECA Inc. is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit student organization with more than 250,000 members in all 50 United States, Canada, Guam, Puerto Rico and Germany. The United States Congress, the United States Department of Education and state, district and international departments of education authorize DECA’s programs.

Nestlings Inc

Nestlings is a groundbreaking multi-sided platform that connects college-bound students with institutions of higher learning, and with agencies and service providers who help make higher education more available and convenient. Students can search for schools, manage their application workflows, and be contacted by schools and scholar-sector businesses. Campus is on a mission to maximize access to a world-class education. A new kind of college, Campus offers accredited, career-focused degree programs to kickstart your education. We prioritize student success by providing resources to nurture their academic experience from day one through graduation. Our online associate degree in business program allows students to complete their first two years of college taking live, online classes with professors who also teach at top universities, including Princeton, UCLA, NYU, Howard, and more. Our Sacramento campus is specifically designed to serve students in CA who wish to pursue hands-on programs like Medical Assisting, Phlebotomy, Barbering & Cosmetology, and many more.
