
The Institute for Performance Excellence
The mission of The Institute for Performance Excellence (I4PE) is to advance organizational performance excellence through effective leadership. We promote the competencies and agility necessary for leadership success in today's dynamically complex and continuously transforming business environment.
I4PE is centered around a simple but powerful proposition: Organizational performance is dependent upon effective and dynamic leadership at all levels, and the effects of that leadership are "processed" through and mediated by a myriad of organizational dynamics.
Performance Excellence refers to an integrated approach to organizational leadership that results in:
- Delivery of ever-improving value to customers and stakeholders (contributing to organizational sustainability),
- Improvement of overall organizational effectiveness and capabilities,
- Organizational and personal learning.
The Institute houses two centers.
1. The Transformation Leadership Center (TLC) - provides the expertise to support the first element of Performance Excellence: continuous leadership development and growth.
2. The Center for Performance and Results (CP&R) - provides the expertise to support the second element of Performance Excellence: continuous management and improvement of organizational processes.
