Streamer Electric AG is a Swiss-based company with regional offices in 5 countries (China, Indonesia, Russia, Equador, Thailand). Our focus is innovative solutions which improve the reliability of medium and high voltage electrical networks. Streamer has two different R&D centers: Russia - in cooperation with the State Polytechnical University of St. Petersburg; Switzerland - in cooperation with HSR and EPFL.
✔️Product range:
Lightning protection. Innovative lightning protection for overhead lines up to 110kV. Streamer patented technology (>1'800'000 units installed).
Fire/overheating prevention. Detects hot spots long before a dangerous situation, avoiding material damage, threats to life, and loss of profit.
Moisture monitoring & drying. Moisture is one of the major cause of failures for power transformers and one of the main degradation factors for the insulation paper.
Fault indicators. Fault circuit indicator is used to detect short circuit failures or phase-to-earth faults in electric power distribution networks.
