We look forward to sharing the magic with YOU! Camp Summit was founded in 1999 by Geoff Park 'Parky' who remains the Senior Director to this day. Camp Summit is a private, non-denominational, co-ed overnight camp and outdoor education centre founded on the principals of the Ontario camping movement in which Parky was brought up in. Camp had such a profound influence in Parky's life that immediately following university he started the camp from the ground up with a goal of providing the same life changing experiences he had at camp. From its humble beginnings renting small cabins in Whistler with a total of only 40 campers its first year, Parky's commitment has grown Summit into one of the most highly regarded Summer Camps in BC seeing a return rate of campers of over 90% from year to year and over 700 campers each summer. The senior leadership programs develop strong young leaders from within and a majority of our staff have grown up at camp and instill the values they learned to the next generation. Our Outdoor Education Centre works with almost all of the top Independent Schools in the lower mainland as well as many local and lower mainland public schools.
