Catherine House is Adelaide's only recovery-focussed homelessness service for adult women unaccompanied by children. Our comprehensive whole-of-life services are provided in a mix of crisis, transitional, and permanent accommodation settings, helping women to achieve greater personal well-being, social and economic participation and a meaningful and satisfying life. At Catherine House, we truly believe that each and every woman is a woman of potential, with capacity and capability, and the right to the choices that lead to a dignified life.

Caring for our Aboriginal children and families. AbSec, also known as The Aboriginal Child, Family and Community Care State Secretariat, is the peak Aboriginal organisation within the child and family sector in NSW, Australia. AbSec is committed to advocating on behalf of Aboriginal children, families, carers and communities. We ensure that our Aboriginal community-controlled sector is equipped with the skills and support they need to keep our kids safe and connected to culture. Our vision is that Aboriginal children and young people are looked after in safe, thriving Aboriginal families and communities. Our kids should be raised strong in spirit and identity, with every opportunity for lifelong wellbeing and connection to culture. In addition to providing advocacy and community services, we offer workforce training through AbSec Learning and Development Centre. Association for Children with a Disability

Association for Children with a Disability (ACD) is Victoria’s leading support service for families with a child with any type of disability or developmental delay. ACD exists to improve the lives of children with a disability and their families, by empowering them to secure the best possible outcomes for their children. We do this by providing accurate information about their rights and entitlement to services and supports and by offering advocacy advice when issues arise. Our services include a free telephone support line, free workshops which cover topics such as how to access disability services, education planning for children with a disability, and how to deal with educational transitions and milestones. We also run development workshops for professionals such as teachers and healthcare providers to improve their understanding of children with disability and their needs. Many ACD staff are themselves parents of children with a disability. This lived experience gives us a unique insight into the issues families face and enables us to be empathetic, well informed and supportive. Above all, we are guided by the belief that children with disability deserve the same rights and opportunities as every other child across Victoria.
