Mass Save

Mass Save is a collaborative of Massachusetts'​ natural gas and electric utilities and energy efficiency service providers, including Berkshire Gas, Blackstone Gas Company, Cape Light Compact, Columbia Gas of Massachusetts, Eversource, Liberty Utilities, National Grid and Unitil. We empower residents, businesses, and communities to make energy efficient upgrades by offering a wide range of services, rebates, incentives, trainings, and information. These programs and services are managed and delivered by electric and gas Sponsors (working closely with the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources), providing the energy expertise to help you save energy and money. Through the joint efforts of the Mass Save collaborative, Massachusetts has earned top ranking as the #1 state in the nation for energy efficiency according to the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE).

Fraunhofer USA - Center for Sustainable Energy Systems CSE

Based in Boston, MA, the Fraunhofer Center for Sustainable Energy Systems (CSE) is an applied research and development laboratory dedicated to the commercialization of clean energy technologies. CSE engages in collaborative research and development with private companies, government entities, and academic institutions, performing research that broadly benefits firms, industries, and society. Our partnerships take a wide variety of forms, including confidential co-development programs, third-party technology validation, technology commercialization assistance for early-stage cleantech companies, and targeted research initiatives to promote the profitability and technical leadership of US industry. Founded in 2008 and supported by the Massachusetts state government, the CSE is part of an international research network spearheaded by Germany's Fraunhofer Society, Europe's largest contract R&D organization. In Germany, the Fraunhofer CSE is closely partnered with the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems (ISE) in Freiburg and the Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics (IBP) in Stuttgart.

Amberix

Amberix delivers design services and solutions that increase energy efficiency and lower operating costs in buildings. We design the HVAC and Control systems for both new construction and retrofits of existing buildings. Our monitoring system and SaaS software technology continuously tunes-up and monitors the HVAC systems of commercial and institutional buildings with installed wireless sensors inside the mechanical systems. These sensors maintain the building's optimum energy state, resulting in Energy savings of 37 cents - $1 annually per SQ FT and Non-Energy savings of 40 cents - 70 cents annually per SQ FT.
