Brease
Everyone their own cloud. That was the starting point from which Brease was developed. Brease was an answer to the growing demand for data to be available anywhere in the world. With a multidisciplinary team, a year was spent on a hardware product that allowed you to centrally manage both applications or data in a personal environment.
During an international crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter, it was decided to shift the focus to the further development of peer-to-peer software for other innovative purposes. For example, based on this software, an application has been developed to use unused storage within organizations (e.g. from workstations) as a redundant backup. This software was subsequently successfully implemented at several organizations and governments in the Netherlands and Belgium, resulting in energy and cost savings of 20-30%.
Brease's business activities were acquired by one of its customers at the end of 2015. As a result, Brease has ceased to exist as a company.
