U.S. Communities, an OMNIA Partner, is a government purchasing cooperative that reduces the cost of goods and services by aggregating the purchasing power of public agencies nationwide. U.S. Communities provides world-class procurement resources and solutions to local and state government agencies, school districts (K-12), higher education, and nonprofits. Our participants have access to a broad line of competitively solicited contracts with best in class national suppliers.

Permits Foundation

We are an independent, not-for-profit organisation campaigning globally to improve work permit regulations to make it easier for partners of expatriate staff to gain employment during an international assignment. Since our start-up in 2001, we have been progressively successful in influencing change globally, for example, throughout the European Union as well as in the USA and Asia (Hong Kong, India, Japan and Malaysia). Almost 30 countries now allow accompanying spouses or partners to work. We continue to promote best practice and monitor legislative improvements in all these countries as well as setting up new projects (most recently in Brazil and Indonesia) in our global campaign. Our surveys show that governments that allow partners to work will attract highly skilled employees who are associated with international business, investment and development, making a ‘triple win' for host countries, employers and families alike.

CDEC LaSalle-Lachine

La Corporation de développement économique communautaire (CDEC) LaSalle-Lachine est une organisation à but non lucratif (OBNL) qui travaille en faveur du développement économique et social des arrondissements de LaSalle et de Lachine à Montréal. Pour ce faire, la CDEC mobilise et concerte les personnes et les collectivités afin de trouver des réponses adéquates aux différents besoins socio-économiques du milieu. La mission la CDEC est noble. En effet, en concevant de projets structurants, elle cherche à « favoriser dans une perspective de développement durable la prise en charge du développement économique et social par et pour les individus, les organismes, les entreprises et les institutions de son territoire. » Pour mener à bien sa mission, la CDEC LaSalle-Lachine s'appuie sur un système de valeurs reposant sur des principes tels que l'ouverture aux autres, le respect de la dignité humaine, le respect de l'environnement, la solidarité, la transparence et la démocratie.

The Melrose Park Chamber of Commerce and Community Development is a non-profit organization founded in 2018, which supports and promotes a community environment where commerce can prosper. Chicago NORML

In existence since 1970, the NORML Foundation sponsors public advertising campaigns to better educate the public about marijuana and alternatives to current marijuana policy; provides legal assistance and support to victims of the current laws; and undertakes relevant research. The Chicago chapter supports this mission and, strives specifically to educate and motivate communities of color to destigmatize and accept the cannabis plant as a vehicle for health & wellness, political empowerment, and economic development.
