Denise Marie Siino is an author, writer freelance journalist and copywriter, with three books and hundreds of articles published nationally. Her published works include articles written for such publications as the L.A. Times, Today's Christian Woman, Orange Coast magazine, Ministry Matters, Charisma, Power for Living, and a number of Focus on the Family publications. She is the author of three books: "In Her Steps," Broadman & Holman Publishers, 5/2005; "Guerrilla Hostage: 810 Days in Captivity," Baker Books, 1999; and she compiled, edited, and consulted to completion Broadman & Holman's 1998 release "A Cup of Coffee at the Soul Cafe" with Leonard Sweet. She also worked for two years as the crime reporter for California's oldest newspaper, the Mountain Democrat.
In addition to the above, Ms. Siino has worked as a freelance editor for both Multnomah Publishers in Sisters, Oregon and Broadman & Holman Publishers in Nashville, Tennessee. Projects entailed in-depth editing for content as well as copy editing of non-fiction and fiction material.
As a marketing specialist for numerous businesses and nonprofit organizations over the years, Ms. Siino has written press releases, ad copy, newsletters, brochures and mailers, her trademark being detail and accuracy in well-written prose.
