Waterloo Aerial Robotics Group

The Waterloo Aerial Robotics Group (WARG) is a student design team at the University of Waterloo competing annually in the Aerial Evolution Association of Canada's Student Competition. We are a passionate group of students focused on innovating the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle industry. We take pride in building everything ourselves, from the autopilot and computer vision software, to the custom designed ZeroPilot board that we use on our aircraft.

Aeronav specializes in Integrated Air Traffic Control (ATC) Systems, Prefabricated VCR’s, Mobile ATC Towers, Ground-based Navaids, Airfield Lighting Systems, Power Supply Systems and Control Tower Design. Aeronav services range from design, integration, installation, training, and maintenance services to global turn-key solutions for Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSP), Aviation Organizations and Airport Authorities worldwide.

At Indrones, we like to consider UAV as a tool, a flying camera/sensor which can provide some incredible insights into the data. While being a revolutionary tool, UAVs also need to be easy to use, affordable and most importantly, reliable and safe. The data gathered by them is what matters to the end user. With that, Indrones’ vision is to be a high-resolution data solutions company helping our customers take more informed decisions!

Basair Aviation College

Basair Aviation College is Australia’s largest flying school. We have 80 aircraft and Australia’s third-largest fleet after Qantas and Virgin Australia. We have three campuses in eastern Australia: in Sydney, Brisbane, and the Hunter Valley. We are now Griffith University's sole provider of flight training, and our alumni fly for hundreds of airlines worldwide. Basair Aviation College focuses on students who want to achieve their commercial pilot licence, multi-engine endorsement, instrument rating, or instructor rating. With 40 entry points a year across our courses and campuses and 60 instructors, we make it convenient to start your training. 250 students train with us a year. Since our beginning 26 years'​ ago, thousands have chosen us to get their wings. We have an excellent and very well-structured competency-based curriculum, which means students typically achieve their commercial pilot licence in 42 weeks. We strive for all of our students to have their first solo in 15 hours, to get 90%+ in their exams, and to achieve their CPL in 150-160 hours. We continuously seek to improve all that we do - both in the air and on the ground - so that we can better serve our students.

FLYING WHALES

FLYING WHALES is a French company established in 2012 to develop and industrialize a 60 tons Large Capacity Airship. The development of this solution is first to enable the French Forestry Agency to increase large volumes of timber extraction from land-locked areas. This solution, which will offer very low operating cost and almost no environmental impact, also targets the large market of special transportation, and logistics & freight market in the countries with transport infrastructure deficit. This project is supported by the French Government and the Quebec Government. The company bases its growth on key human values including deep teamwork, boldness and the ambition to contribute significantly to the development of the new world.
