The Cerebral Palsy Society of New Zealand is a registered charity that continues to enhance the lives of people with cerebral palsy of all ages in New Zealand by empowering them to make their own choices. The Society's objectives are to: - Promote Freedom & Choice; - Fulfil an advocacy role; - Provide physical, social, emotional, educational and recreational means to assist people with cerebral palsy; - Promote study and research. The Society also: - Offers unique programmes for members who meet the respective criterion; - Provides subsidized social events for members and encourages networking and a sense of community; - Supports the sport of Boccia; - Assists with sponsorship.

I Got Your Back Pack

Our Mission: I Got Your Back Pack (IGYBP) is a non-profit initiative and registered NZ charity that was established in 2016, in support of Women's Refuge. We now also partner with both Shine and Shakti safehouses and support other independent shelters on a case-by-case basis. IGYBP provides emergency care packs filled with practical and essential items to the most critical cases of women and children (survivors of domestic violence) going through refuges nationwide, We also provide men's and age specific babies packs. Why Care Packs? Most families in crisis circumstances have had to leave their homes with very little (if any) personal possessions. I Got Your Back Pack believes that gifting a care pack filled with practical and essential items to each parent and child staying in a safehouse, goes a long way towards easing some of their distress and provide, especially for the children, some much needed positive and comforting distractions in these early days of upheaval and change within their lives. We receive powerful testimonies from both the recipients of our packs, and the managers of the safe houses - so we know we're making a difference to those who need it.

The SkyCity Auckland Trust’s vision is "Communities engaged and connected, enabling communities to thrive" SkyCity Auckland Community Trust is a valued part of the commitment SkyCity Auckland has made to the local community since its inception in 1996. Established in accordance with SkyCity Auckland's casino venue license, the Trust has distributed a total of over $62 million to 2,734 charitable organisations, both large and small, that have undertaken community assistance and development work in the area from the Far North through to the Bombay Hills. Organisations that support rangatahi are encouraged to apply. The focus of grants continues to be funding the outcomes of: - Strengthening cultural diversity, social connection, a greater sense of belonging and inclusion. - Building knowledge and skills. - Influencing behaviours and attitudes. The Trust has a Board of Trustees who make decisions on grant allocations and set strategic priorities for the Trust.

CBM is an international Christian development organisation, committed to improving the quality of life of people with disabilities in the poorest communities of the world. CBM works in the most disadvantaged societies, irrespective of race, gender or religion. CBM seeks to: - Reduce the prevalence of diseases which cause impairments. - Minimise the conditions which lead to disability. - Promote equal opportunities for economic empowerment, livelihood security, and full inclusion in all aspects of society for persons with disabilities. CBM employs specialists in a multitude of disciplines, both in the field as co-workers and within the departments of the International Office, and the emphasis is on training national staff. CBM employs trained specialists in the fields of disability and development, project management and other medical and professional fields to support the goal of improving the quality of life of persons with disabilities.
