Tunisian Naval Academy

The Tunisian Naval Academy is a publicly-owned establishment with an administrative aspect endowed with legal entity and financial autonomy. The Tunisian Naval Academy is situated in the town of Menzel Bourguiba in the North of Tunisia, on the Southern edge of the Lake of Bizerte and 60 km away of the capital, Tunis. The Tunisian Naval Academy is the only high maritime teaching establishment in Tunisia which is required to implement the following missions :(Decree N 2004-398 of February 24, 2004) : • The training of officers for the navy and the merchant marine. • The scientific and technical research in the maritime field. In order to fulfill its mission, the Tunisian Naval Academy applies processes of planning, development, implementation and assessment of the training while resting on a system of management of quality in compliance with the standards ISO 9001 : 2008.

DALC Education

DALC is the implementation platform for the new education paradigm in Africa. We undertake Gift and Talent Testing while also recognizing work experience and qualifications during admission process. In this regard the institution has invested and collaborated heavily in processes that would aid Gift and Talent Testing and production of Academic Portfolios for those with work experience. Such Academic Portfolios would produce Academic Credit Points that are used to earn exemptions for those with work experience during admissions. Vision: Our vision focuses on a future that requires well educated individuals who can demonstrate clear understanding and applications of what is learnt, are disciplined and have the desire to do it for others. Mission: Our mission is to revolutionize the educational system in Kenya, Africa and the world over, in which individuals are assessed based on gifts and talents that enhance their ability to become high achievers in the workplace and beyond. DALC Education curriculum is approved by both the Ministry of Higher Education (Reg. License No. MOEST/PC/996/06) and Commission for Higher Education(Vide Letter Ref. CHE/15/1/1) after rigorous inspections and final approvals by these legal Kenya Government Departments, charged with the responsibility of accrediting/validating/approving institutions and the programmes offered.

Shoshinkan

Shoshinkan 初心館 es un centro pionero en España en la divulgación de la Cultura Japonesa. Nuestro objetivo es acercar un pedazo de India y Japón a Barcelona a través de cursos, talleres, formaciones y actividades especializadas. En nuestro tatami tendrás la oportunidad de practicar Judo, Aikido, Jujutsu, Kenpo y Kobudo. En nuestra aula de cultura encontrarás NihonGo (idioma japonés), Shodo (caligrafía), Origami (papiroflexia) y Shiatsu (masaje japonés) además de muchos cursos monográficos de distintas artes. Un lugar dedicado a Japón único en nuestro país. Shoshinkan es una entidad cultural dedicada al estudio y preservación de la cultura tradicional de Japón. Nuestro objetivo es transmitir las virtudes y valores de la cultura tradicional japonesa, así como tomar una mejor visión del mundo con una mente abierta, autocrítica, transparente y positiva. Es decir, queremos formar personas. En el año 2005, Xavier Teixidó decide poner un nombre a su escuela y a su forma de enseñar. Nace el concepto Shoshinkan, traducido como el lugar del eterno aprendiz. Así es como Xavier Teixidó vive la cultura de Japón, y así es como la enseña. A finales del 2012, nace Shoshinkan Nihon Budo Kyokai como Asociación Cultural inscrita en el Departament de Justícia (Direcció General de Dret i d'Entitats Jurídiques) de la Generalitat de Catalunya, como plataforma para promover las disciplinas tradicionales japonesas enseñadas en la asociación. En la actualidad, Shoshinkan dispone de sede propia ubicada en un local protegido por el Patrimonio Cultural de Barcelona, un lugar muy especial, donde se enseña el camino a recorrer, donde se comparten experiencias, donde se endereza el espíritu y se logra desarrollar corazón, cuerpo y mente (Shin-gi-tai).
