.The Atelier Gessos Maceiro (AGM) is a leader in plastering field and inside Restoration & Renovation. Since 1790, AGM has been dedicated to the art of plastering and has passed down a rich heritage of skill and artistry through generations. We are specialised in historical restoration and new decoration projects. Some of our works includes palaces, churches, theatres, hotels, and private residences. Our expertise in Restoration, ornamental plaster and mould making, allow us to work to Architects, Inside Decorators and Contractors, in many architecturally significant buildings all over Portugal.
AGM is a family owned and operated business for several generations, and it has passed, already, the two centuries of continuous activity.
We have the experience and manpower to take on any Restoration or Plastering project. Our structure and organisation, the attention to the aesthetics aspects and our expertise in decorative styles of plaster, make us an important partnership that stands ready to serve the needs of our clients in all areas of the plastering industry.
AGM‘s home is in Lisbon, Portugal, but our works goes all over the country and also for overseas. From Europe to USA, to Angola and South Africa, we have been part of numerous Restoration and Decoration projects.
AGM can offer more than 2.000 different decorative plaster pieces for wall and ceilings decorations, in most any style. The only limitation to the design is the imagination.
Apart from this product the AGM is owner of a vast collection of original models, hundreds of matrix and documents as books, prints, slides, drawings, sketches, etc. from the seventeenth century to the present. This historical heritage of incalculable value was being driven by professionals Maceiro family for more than 200 years of company activity.
