With over eight years experience in the volunteer sector in India, Maiona UK has now setup a new and exciting programme aimed at boosting knowledge and investment in emerging economies. The programme is called engageBRIC and it offers businesses, entrepreneurs and students the opportunity to experience how business is conducted in some of the world’s fastest growing economies. We currently run two distinct programmes for businesses and students in Bangalore, India and we will soon be offering packages in Sao Paulo, Brazil and in Shanghai, China. About the business programme engageBRIC aims to assist SMEs with exploring the potential of doing business in emerging economies. Our five day programme offers businesses, investors and entrepreneurs the opportunity to meet key decision-makers in-country at respected companies who are looking for investment, knowledge exchange, trade and exporting partners, and international partnerships. We also include interactive sessions with government officials and legal experts to give attendees a complete picture of how to approach doing business in India, China or Brazil. About the student programme On this eight day programme, students experience first-hand the environment and culture of these diverse and fascinating countries. Along with seminars and workshops with government officials, entrepreneurs and business professionals, students will also get the opportunity to network with fellow business students from around the world.
