The Lowry Foundation

The Lowry Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization committed to preserving the Legacy of the Lowry AF Base and strengthening the community of Lowry today. We strive to enhance the public spaces and creating a sense of community for Lowry. The Lowry Foundation enriches the quality of life in the Lowry community through programs of artistic, cultural, educational, historical, recreational and scientific value. As stewards of the historic Eisenhower Chapel, we oversee and promote the use of the Chapel as a gathering space for community, social, spiritual and cultural events. The Chapel is also available for private events. The Foundation was created in 1998 and its projects have included celebrations of Lowry's past and future, public art and transit art to enhance public spaces, a community grant program to fund Lowry projects, the preservation of the Eisenhower Chapel and other historic sites. Volunteering for and donating to the Lowry Foundation is a great way to benefit the Lowry community.

HFC

Founded in 2012 by Seth Rogen and Lauren Miller Rogen, HFC is a national non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness, inspiring change, and accelerating progress in Alzheimer’s care, prevention, and support. It is our mission to care for families facing this disease, educate young people about living a brain-healthy life, and activate the next generation of Alzheimer’s advocates. To bring awareness to this disease, HFC has launched a Brain Health Dinner Series, hosted nine star-studded variety shows and one celebrity-filled carnival, and is currently streaming on Netflix. To date, the organization has raised over $12 million dollars and awarded over 290,000 hours of free in-home care relief to Alzheimer’s family caregivers through our North American Home Care Relief Grant Program. In addition to providing caregiver respite, HFC organizes online support groups to build caregiver community and connectivity, engages young people across the country to become Alzheimer’s advocates, funds prevention-focused and brain-health research, and teaches people how to care for the health of their brains today, so they can reduce their risk tomorrow. Incorporated both in the United States and in Sri Lanka, it bridges the learning and skills gap of the youth and the marginalized by leveraging global resources through a unique merger between digital technology platforms and partnership models, contributing directly to a skilled, equitable, and inclusive workforce and a responsible and empathetic citizenry.

African Future Farmers (AFF)

AFF is a nonprofit organization that aims to access advanced scientific and technological resources and adapt them to agricultural products for use in Africa. AFF will educate communities on the principles and practices of good agriculture and environmental protection for a sustainable economy and development. Our mission is to improve food security and reduce poverty in the life of poor farmers, young men and women in West Africa by developing their potential leadership and personal growth success through agricultural education and practices. We will provide start-up capital in the form of micro-loans and mini-grants for the creation and development of worker-owned and managed, sustainable agriculture enterprises based on principles of environmental and social responsibility. AFF’s members have one thing in common: a passionate desire to restore dignity, hope and confidence of poor farmers, young men and women in in West Africa rural area.
