City of Hot Springs

Hot Springs has a city manager form of government, including a seven-member Board of Directors as the legislative and executive body, and a city manager to manage all the city's day-to-day operations. The city is divided into six districts, each represented by a city director. The Mayor is elected at-large. Regular Board meetings, televised live on Resort TV Cable channel 12 (City12), are held on the first and third Tuesdays of each month at 6 p.m. at City Hall, 133 Convention Boulevard.

Wichita Falls MPO

The WFMPO is a federally mandated organization developed to coordinate the highway, transit, and land use planning process in order to receive federal funds for highway and transit improvements. The mission of the WFMPO is to provide comprehensive, coordinated and continuous (the "3Cs") transportation planning for the safe and efficient movement of people and goods. Special emphasis is placed on providing equal access to a variety of transportation choices and effective public involvement in the transportation planning process. WFMPO is a regional, multi-modal transportation-planning agency responsible for a comprehensive, cooperative, and continuous planning process. We are created by federal law to provide a forum for project selection by local officials; set policy and guide the transportation planning process; develop a multi-modal, 25 year metropolitan transportation plan. Our belief is that those who are affected by a decision have a right to be involved in the decision-making process.

Nobis Project

Nobis Project is a non-profit educational organization, founded in 2008, whose mission is to inspire purpose, pivot mindset, and activate agency. Nobis Project supports and collaborates with educators in developing community engagement experiences that prepare student leaders to create a more just, sustainable, and equitable world.
