Cornell University College Republicans

Cornell Republicans promotes the principles of the Republican Party at Cornell University, in Ithaca, and in New York State through hosting prominent speakers, campaigning for candidates, participating in debates with other campus political organizations, and taking part in conservative conferences. Just in the past few years, the Cornell Republicans have hosted Allen West, Ben Carson, Ward Connerly, Kimberly Guilfoyle, Rick Santorum, Newt Gingrich, Steve Forbes, and Dick Cheney.. We have also debated the Cornell Democrats on topics such as economic policy and social issues. In order to ingrain ourselves in the national context and to participate in the largest gathering of conservatives in America, we have participated in the Conservative Political Action Conference, where we have met John Thune, Jim DeMint, and Michelle Bachmann, among others, and heard the likes of Mitt Romney, Rick Perry, Ron Paul, and Donald Rumsfeld. Today, we look to expand and reach a wider audience to better promote the principles of the Republican Party.

AFSCME Local 3299

AFSCME (American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees) Local 3299 is a dynamic labor union dedicated to fighting for workers'​ rights while strengthening its membership. Local 3299 represents 20,000 University of California workers at the ten campuses and five medical centers. Workers represented include custodians, food service workers, cooks, bus drivers, licensed vocational nurses, nursing assistants, medical assistants and techs. We are a democratic, member run union that believes in teaching workers how to use collective action to solve problems and gain power at work.
