Valley Free Radio

Valley Free Radio is a non-profit, community based and volunteer run radio station for the Greater Northampton area. We seek to educate, inspire, and entertain through programming that reflects the diversity of the local community. We seek to provide a space for media access and education, placing equipment, skills, and critical tools in the hands of the community. We aim to serve with particular regard for those overlooked or under-represented by other media and to provide for the exchange of cultural and intellectual ideas and music.

Fundación de Tecnologías Sociales - TECSOS

La Fundación Tecnologías Sociales – TECSOS, se funda en el año 2002, a través del impulso conjunto de la Cruz Roja Española y la Fundación Vodafone España. En la Fundación Tecsos se unen la experiencia social de Cruz Roja Española con la excelencia tecnológica de la Fundación Vodafone España, con el objeto de resolver necesidades sociales y de mejorar las condiciones de vida de las personas y grupos socialmente desfavorecidos, mediante la aplicación de las nuevas tecnologías de la información y comunicación, especialmente las móviles, y su desarrollo y utilización. La Fundación TECSOS Promueve y realiza actividades de investigación, asistencia, prevención, formación, concienciación y colaboración.

Deaf Village Ireland

Deaf Village Ireland is an inclusive state of the art social, administration, religious, community, sports, heritage and educational complex providing a range of facilities for both Deaf and hearing people. DVI is Deaf led with a unique integrated communication ethos where both Irish Sign Language (ISL) and spoken English are used. The Deaf Village Ireland is a collaborative organisation represented by all Deaf organisations in Dublin

Book Dash

We believe every child should own a hundred books by the age of five. To help make this happen, Book Dash gathers top creative professionals to volunteer their time creating children's books that anyone can freely translate, print and distribute. Children in South Africa need more books, but they cost too much purchased from publishers. The cheapest books have no publisher – then the only cost is printing. So our participants do the work of publishers in a single day. We work with leading non-profits and community-minded businesses to put finished books into the hands of children.

Liga Portuguesa Contra a SIDA

A Liga Portuguesa Contra a Sida é actualmente a mais antiga entidade privada de luta contra a SIDA em actividade, reconhecida como IPSS de Utilidade Pública e como ONGD pelo IPAD e tem mantido e desenvolvido, ao longo dos seus 22 anos de existência, um conjunto de acções, numa perspectiva de apoio integrado às pessoas infectadas e afectadas pelo VIH/SIDA. Desde 1990, ano da sua fundação, vem a Liga Portuguesa Contra a Sida exercendo actividades nas diversas áreas ligadas à luta contra a Sida (apoio psicológico, jurídico, nutricional, social, aconselhamento por linha telefónica gratuita, através da Linha SOS SIDA, apoio hospitalar, Centros de Atendimento e Apoio Integrado, Apoio a Seniores, etc.)
