Padagis-Israel is a leading pharmaceutical company. We are dedicated to taking care of our consumers and patients and to offering a wide variety of Rx, biosimilars, non-prescription drugs, generic drugs, glucose meters, medical equipment and consumer products. Our customers include hospitals, health funds and pharmacies in the institutional markets, private markets and pharmacy chains. The company has been active in Israel since 1961, founded as "Agis" company. In 2005, Agis was purchased by Perrigo (Perrigo Company PLC) the large OTC pharmaceutical company from the US. In 2021 the Rx Pharmaceuticals Business, now known as Padagis LLC company, was sold to the Altaris fund, whose main business is a venture capital fund for the medical field. Padagis currently employs around 850 employees in Israel and is one of the largest employers in the Negev area.
