CEE is a community-based clean energy nonprofit with special expertise in energy efficiency that stretches back 40 years. Data-driven and community-engaged, our team is passionate about discovering and deploying the most effective solutions to strengthen the economy and improve the environment. Communities In Schools of the Lehigh Valley

The mission of Communities In Schools in the Lehigh Valley (CIS) is to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life. CIS is committed to ending the drop-out epidemic in the public school system and ensuring that every student graduates. CIS staff are positioned within schools, where they work cooperatively with the teachers, counselors, and principals, to coordinate a web of comprehensive supports. School-wide, group-level, and individualized supports serve to improve students'​ attendance, reduce suspensions, and improve academic outcomes. CIS case managed supports target students identified as being at-risk of dropout. Through the power of caring relationships and community support, CIS staff empower these at-risk students to make positive choices for themselves and find success in school and beyond. The variety of services CIS delivers across Berks, Lehigh, and Northampton counties includes counseling, mentoring, tutoring, support for alternative education, out-of-school time programs, career and college readiness programming, dropout reengagement, and referrals to community-based resources.

Our Mission: Empowering girls and women to lead through mentorship, talent development and advocacy. EmpowHERment, Inc. is a Charlotte, NC based not for profit organization. We are committed to empowering a continuous network of girls and women to be leaders through mentorship, talent development and advocacy. Our programs connect girls in grades 6-12 with women in their local communities.
