Royal Economic Society

The Royal Economic Society purpose is to promote the study of economic science. With over 4,000 members worldwide, we are one of the oldest economic associations in the world. Founded in 1890 we received our Royal Charter in 1902. The Royal Economic Society is a registered charity and produces two peer-reviewed journals The Economic Journal and The Econometric Journal. We host an annual conference providing a forum for research, debate and networking. We also provide resources for economists and support for education and the training of students, teachers and researchers. We are also focused on improving the public understanding of economics through engagement with schools and the wider public.

Club Bootstrap

Nous sommes un collectif (+100 CEO) qui souhaite transformer la mesure du succès dans l’écosystème européen pour y intégrer l’impact sociétal et humain. Ce Club réunit des entrepreneurs ambitieux, convaincus que la croissance est compatible avec leur quête de liberté (en étant rentable pour ne pas être dépendant et contraint par les actionnaires) et d’humanisme (en proposant et en maintenant un cadre de travail épanouissant et bienveillant). Le Club veut présenter une autre figure de l’entrepreneuriat, en transition avec les codes parfois caricaturaux de la startup nation. Le Club Bootstrap s’inscrit dans un mouvement plus global de startups qui refusent désormais la perfusion financière extérieure et la croissance accélérée comme une fin en soi. Sans condamner la levée de fonds comme le mal absolu, pour eux, le recours systématique à ce type de financement pose question.
