Διανύοντας την έκτη δεκαετία της ζωής του το Πανεπιστήμιο Μακεδονίας, η συνέχεια της ιστορικής Ανωτάτης Βιομηχανικής Σχολής Θεσσαλονίκης, είναι ένα σύγχρονο δημόσιο Ανώτατο Εκπαιδευτικό Ίδρυμα που ξεχωρίζει για το περιβάλλον ποιότητας, Ελευθερίας, Δημοκρατίας, αξιοκρατίας και προσωπικής ανάπτυξης που προσφέρει σε όλους, τους φοιτητές, τα μέλη του Διδακτικού και Ερευνητικού Προσωπικού, τους εργαζόμενους σε αυτό. Αποστολή μας είναι, μέσα από τα επιστημονικά αντικείμενα που θεραπεύουμε στις τέσσερις σχολές μας, να προσφέρουμε στην κοινωνία συμβάλλοντας με την έρευνα και τη μετάδοση της γνώσης στην κοινωνική και οικονομική ανάπτυξη της χώρας. Χιλιάδες απόφοιτοι του Πανεπιστημίου Μακεδονίας σταδιοδρομούν με επιτυχία στην Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό. Από την πλευρά μας, σε μια ιδιαιτέρως δύσκολη συγκυρία για την ελληνική νεολαία που μαστίζεται από την ανεργία, προσπαθούμε με κάθε τρόπο να υποστηρίξουμε τους νέους αποφοίτους και τους φοιτητές μας μέσα από τα γραφεία Πρακτικής Άσκησης και Διασύνδεσης και την επικαιροποίηση των Προγραμμάτων Σπουδών σε όλα τα Τμήματα, ώστε να βοηθήσουμε την ένταξή τους στην αγορά εργασίας. Τα θετικά αποτελέσματα της Αξιολόγησης για τη συντριπτική πλειοψηφία των Τμημάτων του Πανεπιστημίου, η διαχρονικά ομαλή λειτουργία του καθ'​ όλη τη διάρκεια της ακαδημαϊκής χρονιάς, η χρηστή οικονομική διαχείριση και το καταρτισμένο, φιλόδοξο και ταλαντούχο ανθρώπινο δυναμικό αποτελούν όχι μόνο εγγυήσεις για την ποιότητα του Πανεπιστημίου Μακεδονίας σήμερα, αλλά και τα εφόδια μας για την εξέλιξή μας σε ένα δυναμικά αναπτυσσόμενο μεσαίου μεγέθους Πανεπιστήμιο, στην Ελλάδα και την ευρύτερη περιοχή στο μέλλον.

Faculty of Education Masaryk university

The main tasks of the faculty are to train and educate teachers for primary and lower secondary schools, and, in some fields, for upper secondary schools. The faculty also organizes the study of special and social pedagogy. The faculty teaches courses in all degree programs: the Bachelor, Follow-up Master, Master and Doctoral programs. The range of degrees offered include specialization and retraining programs, short-term training courses, and lifelong studies, which responds to the needs of pedagogical practice through its supplementary extension.
