Mrs. Kapoor, being a homemaker for 20 years of her life, began her professional career at the age of 40. She also empowered hard-working and creative women by helping them become a part of the corporate world. Gradually, she transformed herself into one of the successful women entrepreneurs of India. In 2021, Mrs. Kapoor won the SME - Women Entrepreneur of the Year award for inspiring Indian women to look beyond their households and become successful entrepreneurs, and for leading a brand that resonates with so many Indian women across the country. As a woman-led brand, SHREE celebrates the essence of womanhood, and is continuously working towards providing a personable shopping experience to women by bringing the rich culture of India to their homes.
