Mabit is an independent business oriented r&d program operating in the marine biotechnology sector in northern norway. It is dedicated specifically to the increase in the value of marine resources, but also open to biotechnology projects from other sectors. Mabit is the only regional discipline-oriented funding program in Norway -to provide to demonstrate clear results in terms of r&d and industrial activities within the marine biotechnology sector -to obtain at least 30% of program funding from industry actors -to promote marine biotechnology as a national
