Fondé en 1958, le Centre National d'Histoire des Sciences a pour objectif de promouvoir l'histoire des sciences en Belgique. À cette fin, il publie des études et des inventaires, produit des outils didactiques, mène des activités pédagogiques dans les écoles et les musées et organise des manifestations culturelles (conférences, expositions) à destination du grand public.

European Forum for Restorative Justice (EFRJ)

Founded in 2000 by a group of academics, practitioners and policy makers, the European Forum for Restorative Justice (EFRJ) has the aim to contribute to the further development and establishment of victim-offender mediation and other restorative justice practices. Every person in Europe should have the right of access to RJ services, at any time and in any case. Among other activities, the EFRJ supports its members in developing RJ across Europe and beyond by building cooperation, publishing research findings, sharing information and knowledge, and organising seminars, conferences, summer schools and events in occasion of the international RJ Weeks. The EFRJ is a membership organisation with about 250 between individual and organisational members across Europe and beyond. It is part of the Criminal Justice Platform Europe, together with CEP (Confederation of European Probation) and Europris (European Organisation of Prison and Correctional Services). FAIB - Federation of European and International Associations established in Belgium

It is a not-for-profit apolitical organization, that represents international associations from all walks of life. The FAIB was founded in 1949 at the initiative of the leaders of the UIA (Union of International Associations) to draw attention to the existence of international associations in Belgium and to the need of facilitating their activities. The FAIB has been chaired by great men of State such as Paul Van Zeeland, Albert Théatre and Pierre Harmel, whose objective was to promote the development of international life in Belgium. While preserving its initial denomination, the word “European” was added to its name in 2004 to emphasize the European nature of the majority of its members.
