Community Housing Industry Association NSW (CHIA NSW) is the peak industry group for community housing in NSW. We represent our members managing over 54,000 properties – the largest community housing industry sector in Australia. CHIA NSW also has Associate members representing individuals and organisations with an interest in community housing. CHIA NSW works to build a sustainable and flourishing industry able to deliver the best outcomes for the tenants and communities it works with. We also advocate with local, state and federal governments for more social and affordable housing for people on lower incomes in NSW. CHIA NSW is affiliated to the Community Housing Industry Association (CHIA), the national peak body that represents the industry in Australia, and we work with community housing peak bodies in other jurisdictions to collectively support the industry to grow and operate effectively.

Cool Girls, Inc.

Cool Girls provides an opportunity for over 350 girls in low-income communities to learn about themselves and others in a positive manner while instilling leadership, confidence and respect. It shows them, through after school educational programs, mentoring, and field trips, that they can achieve anything they pursue by setting goals, working diligently and making positive choices. Every day in the UK, 34 young adults are diagnosed with cancer. Our vision is a future where anyone in their 20s or 30s who has heard the words "it's cancer" is given tailored support that matches their unique needs. We're the only charity that offers tailored support to this age group of cancer patients and we work to tackle social isolation and improve quality of life through and beyond their treatment. Our mission is to provide support, guidance and connection to a community of young adults who have been diagnosed with cancer through unique experiences, specialist advice designed to keep them active during or beyond treatment, informative events and expert information. Getting diagnosed with cancer is like becoming part of a club you never wanted to join - but know we're here to help you figure it out. Community is at the heart of what we do.
