American Swim Academy

SETTING THE STANDARD FOR SAFE AND SUCCESSFUL SWIM INSTRUCTION SINCE 1973! American Swim Academy, formerly Fremont Swim School, has been teaching the Bay Area to swim since 1973. Our goal is to promote water safety, comfort and stroke technique for all ages and all abilities. We offer affordable classes on a flexible schedule year-round, 7 days a week. ABOUT OUR COMPANY AND TEACHING PHILOSOPHY: • Founded by the Alberti family, we are still family owned and operated • We believe student swimmers should be allowed to progress at their own rate: - Each teacher is trained to teach all skill levels - Small class sizes allow for very individualized instruction - No swimmer will be required to change classes if they're not ready • Beginning swimmers are taught to love the water, and they become eager to swim ABOUT OUR FACILITIES: • We have schools in Fremont, Newark, Livermore and Dublin, California • Our pools are designed specifically for swim instruction: - Wide steps for class organization - Shallow areas for small children - Teaching stations for instructors • An on-deck manager oversees all instruction and ensures student safety • Clean, secure locker rooms make it convenient to change before and after lessons • Seating area for parents, with some locations offering an adjacent play area ABOUT OUR CLASSES AND SCHEDULES: • Each class is 30 minutes long • Classes are $12-$21 each, depending on location and class frequency • Classes are offered every day of the week, all year long

Eastland-Fairfield Career and Technical Schools

Eastland-Fairfield Career & Technical School offers programs to high school students in 11th and 12th grade and adults in Franklin, Fairfield and Pickaway Counties. We partner with 16 public school districts and local business partners and employers that span 700+ square miles to provide our students with high-tech and in-demand programs. EFCTS strives to be a collaborative partner in the economic and workforce development of Central Ohio. Our programs seek to connect student interest to real-world needs and employment opportunities. We work with key partners to identify critical workforce needs and ensure our programs are preparing students to be employed and successful after graduation. Currently, we offer nearly 40 high school programs and 6 full-time adult programs that range from traditional career technical programs (welding, auto technology and cosmetology) to cutting-edge and high-tech programs (cybersecurity, logistics, graphic design, aviation, and pre-medical). Our traditional programs offer certification opportunities for in-demand careers when completed whereas other programs set students up to enter college or university programs with course-credit and hands-on experience needed to excel in their program of choice. In all of our programs, we are focused on equipping students with the skills needed to adapt to a rapidly changing world and succeed in career and in life. The District has two main campuses that serve our high school students — Eastland Career Center in Groveport and Fairfield Career Center in Carroll, with satellite locations at six of its associate high schools: Gahanna Lincoln, Groveport Madison, New Albany, Pickerington North, Canal Winchester, and Reynoldsburg. EFCTS is a dedicated local partner and is committed to continuing to adapt to meet the changing needs of the region and our students. The Hotchkiss School

The Hotchkiss School is an independent boarding school located in Lakeville, Connecticut.
