Hanover County Public Schools

Hanover County Public Schools (HCPS) is an award-winning school division that serves approximately 17,000 students in Pre-K–12 across 26 schools. These include 15 elementary, four middle, and four high schools, as well as one trade and technology, one K–12 online school, and one alternative education school. Ten of our schools have earned Blue Ribbon School of Excellence awards. HCPS is the 15th largest of the 132 school divisions in Virginia.

Viken fylkeskommune

Samlet kystlinje: 2 265 km Jordbruk: 2 173 km2 jordbruksareal, tilsvarende 9,0 prosent av det totale landarealet, mot 3,4 prosent i hele landet. Skogsareal: 56,8 prosent, mot 37,6 prosent i hele landet. Høyeste fjell: Folarskardnuten (1933 moh.) på Hallingskarvet. In addition to providing sound elementary and middle level education, which includes grounding in the arts as well as basic core subjects, KCS also offers a secondary curriculum that provides opportunities for students in college preparation, the arts and a wide variety of vocational subject areas. Our school system is served by over 7,000 dedicated men and women who are committed to providing all of our children an exceptional education in a safe, secure and healthy environment. Parental involvement is also key to our success. We encourage parents to be involved in their school at all levels, and there are many very active parent organizations throughout the county that contribute immeasurably to the success of our schools.
