About
Established in 1985 by Bill Moularadellis, Kingston Estate Wines has grown to become one of Australia's largest wineries, producing wines from commercial through to ultra-premium and exporting them to all corners of the globe. Over 5,000 acres of own vineyards in South Australia and Victoria supplement our grape intake, ensuring we provide the quality, consistency, reliability and continuous improvement from vine to bottle that our global customers require.
Our winery is located in the township of Kingston-On-Murray, near the banks of the River Murray, around 220kms from Adelaide in the state of South Australia. Founded on the vineyard property Bill's parents planted in 1965, the state of the art winery is two wineries in one: the ‘old winery' - where it all started - is where we make our small batch high end wines, while the other side of the winery is for our larger volume wines.
Our extensive vineyard holdings are centred on our Kingston Vineyard, opposite the winery, which is famously planted with what it considered the largest single planting of Petit Verdot in the world. We are especially excited about our Limestone Coast vineyards – dry grown and cool climate, they produce wonderful grapes for our high end wines.
