مدرسة خليفة بن زايد الأول عبارة عن مشروع مدرسة حكومية رائدة في أبوظبي تهدف إلى إنشاء نموذج تعليمي إماراتي أصيل يدمج القيم والممارسات والهيئات المعرفية الثقافية في مناهج المدارس العامة الإماراتية القياسية. تعمل المدرسة، جنبًا إلى جنب مع مؤسسة الإمارات للتعليم المدرسي، بالتعاون من حكومة أبوظبي، على نسج طرق التعلم الإماراتية من خلال تحويل الطلاب بعيدًا عن الاختبارات الموحدة نحو التطبيق العملي القائم على المشاريع والتجارب العملية. Khalifa bin Zayed Al Awal School is a pilot public school in Abu Dhabi with the mission to create an authentic Emirati educational model that integrates cultural values, practices, and bodies of knowledge into the standard UAE public school curriculum. The school, alongside the Emirates School Establishment and a coalition of Abu Dhabi government partners, weaves in Emirati ways of learning by shifting students away from standardised testing and toward practical, project-based application and hands-on experiences.
