Creative Arts Workshop

Creative Arts Workshop is a nonprofit regional center for creativity that has served the Greater New Haven area since 1961. As an anchor institution located in the heart of the award-winning Audubon Arts District, CAW offers a wide range of visual arts classes and engagement in creativity in its own three-story building with fully-equipped studios in eight disciplines, and an active exhibition and public programming schedule. More than 1,800 adults and young people enroll annually in the more than 400 courses offered by Creative Arts Workshop, while over 1000 visitors enjoy the free exhibitions and public programs in its destination galleries throughout the year. CAW's classes are open to students and professionals of all ages and levels of experience.

Dhoomimal Gallery (DMG), established in 1936 by Sh. Ram Babu Jain is the oldest contemporary art gallery in India and is a place where art is an institution.

Turner Galleries

Turner Galleries is one of the largest commercial art galleries in Perth. The gallery features three exhibition spaces: One large gallery measuring 8.6 x 10m, and two smaller galleries each measuring approx 4 x 9m. Delivery, consignment and storage areas are located at the back of the complex, with an office and additional display room at the front. The gallery displays a broad range of contemporary art that is unique, challenging, critical and/or experimental. This encompasses painting, printmaking, sculpture, installation, jewellery, and new technologies. The gallery is owned and directed by Helen Turner, and managed and curated by Allison Archer. Turner Galleries is also home to an innovative artist in residence programme, and its sponsorship group, the Turner Galleries Art Angels Incorporated. From October 1999 to February 2006, Turner Galleries was known as The Church Gallery. For most of that time it was located at 264 Stirling Highway, in Claremont Western Australia. In December 2005 it moved to temporary premises, at 452 William Street Northbridge, not far from the city centre, whilst a new gallery space was being prepared. In March 2007 the gallery relocated and opened with the new name Turner Galleries. The newly refurbished 1920's factory workshop is located at 470 William Street Northbridge, near the corner of Bulwer Street. GALLERY HOURS: 11 - 5pm TUESDAY TO SATURDAY CLOSED ON PUBLIC HOLIDAYS
