Devin Smith Scholarship Foundation

Our Mission: Providing community support and scholarships for higher education to high school seniors who demonstrate a creative vision for their lives. About DSSF: The Devin Smith Scholarship Foundation will award college scholarships to students from St. Paul Central High School because it is a place that embraces diversity and fosters academic excellence. Forty languages are spoken in the homes of St. Paul Central students, and the student body reflects the diverse community that it serves. The school has also been named a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence, and sent 92% of its graduates to higher education institutions in 2011. About Devin Smith: Devin Lomax Smith was born on February 6, 1989, and grew up in St. Paul. He was a proud graduate of Capitol Hill Magnet School and a 2007 graduate of St. Paul Central High School. He was a writer, poet and rapper. Devin graduated from New York University in May, 2011, with a degree in Arabic, Middle Eastern studies, and creative writing. He wanted to follow his dreams and was working on an album with his New York band, Wino, for which he rhymed and wrote. Devin travelled the world, and wrote music and poetry every day. Devin died on July 3, 2011. He would want to be remembered for his fearless creative vision. He cherished the diversity of his hometown and high school, and would be happy to know that scholarships at St. Paul Central in his memory will make it possible for others to follow their own dreams.

ACEC Missouri

The American Council of Engineering Companies of Missouri is the state affiliate of the national ACEC. This non-profit trade association represents highly qualified and experienced design firms offering engineering, architectural, surveying and planning services to business, industry and government. Virtually all areas of professional practice from acoustical to geotechnical to transportation are offered by member firms.

San Francisco Center for Economic Development

The San Francisco Center for Economic Development (SFCED) focuses exclusively on helping businesses locate and expand in the Bay Area. We work collaboratively with other like-minded partner organizations, industry groups and the Mayor's Office of Economic and Workforce Development (MOEWD), to pave the way for businesses to succeed in one of the most dynamic, innovative and technologically advanced cities in the world. As a department of the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce Foundation 501(c)(3), we are able to bring the strength, stature, and public policy expertise of the Chamber to our efforts. We provide a one-stop information and networking resource for businesses considering their strategy and location—delivering crucial relocation knowledge and links to professional and industry networks. We offer no charge, comprehensive confidential assistance and fast-track access to help companies take advantage of government incentives, aiding them in navigating state and local regulations.

FoundationSMCL

The Foundation for San Mateo County Libraries was established in 2018 to support and invest in systemwide library programs and initiatives. Our primary focus areas are Youth & Family Services, Lifelong Learning, and Community Engagement. Gifts made to the Foundation for San Mateo County Libraries support innovative programs and services of San Mateo County Libraries Joint Powers Authority in the following communities: Atherton, Belmont, Brisbane, East Palo Alto, Foster City, Half Moon Bay, Millbrae, North Fair Oaks, Pacifica, Portola Valley, San Carlos, and Woodside and unincorporated San Mateo County.
