Center for Economic Inclusion

The Center for Economic Inclusion is a cross-sector organization committed to strengthening the Minneapolis-St. Paul region's civic infrastructure and collective capacity to disrupt systems and influence market forces to catalyze shared prosperity and advance an inclusive economy. The Center for Economic Inclusion is dedicated to advancing inclusive growth – by elevating data-driven promising practices, advocating inclusive policies, coordinating cross-sector, community-driven development, and piloting strategies that truly close the gaps. The Center uses an integrated approach to advancing inclusive growth and is home to an increasing number of existing cross-sector, results-driven efforts focused on racial equity and economic opportunity. Our integrating partners include: Northside Funders Group: Aligning investments and strategies to achieve racial and economic equity in North Minneapolis. East Side Funders Group: Deploying resources and investments to increase economic vitality for residents on the East Side of Saint Paul. Blue Line Coalition: Leveraging community power to change systems and policies in order to create wealth and well-being for communities of color, immigrants/refugees, migrants, people living with disabilities, and low-income communities along the Bottineau Light Rail corridor. Greater Metropolitan Workforce Council: The Greater Metropolitan Workforce Council (GMWC) is rooted in the local authority provided by the federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) and the State of Minnesota Workforce Council. The GMWC exists to lead innovation and collaboration in the 7-county area to achieve transformational change - closing both current and future employment gaps while increasing employment equity to the greater benefit of our combined communities.

Center for Energy and Environment

CEE is a community-based clean energy nonprofit with special expertise in energy efficiency that stretches back 40 years. Data-driven and community-engaged, our team is passionate about discovering and deploying the most effective solutions to strengthen the economy and improve the environment. We are committed to creating an open and welcoming workplace with an emphasis on work–life balance. Open-door communication is invited, and diverse backgrounds and points of view are encouraged. Joyce Preschool

Joyce Preschool is a bilingual (Spanish-English), nonprofit preschool that prepares whole families for success in school and lifelong learning. El Preescolar Joyce es una escuela bilingüe que ofrece educación temprana — con calidad — a los niños y sus familias. Joyce serves children ages 3-5 and their families. We are nationally accredited through the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and 4-Star Parent Aware. Our research-based approach emphasizes kindergarten readiness and the importance of parent involvement. Joyce classrooms are balanced with equal numbers of Spanish- and English-speaking students and teachers so kids have peer and adult role models in both their native language and second language. Joyce also serves families through parent support and involvement, family literacy, parent-child classes for caregivers and children ages 2-4, and Spanish-immersion summer camps for children ages 3-8. Greater Minneapolis Crisis Nursery

Greater Minneapolis Crisis Nursery's mission is to end child abuse and neglect and create strong, healthy families. We support families in crisis 24 hours a day, 365 days a year through our free, voluntary services including: •24-hour crisis helpline •Crisis counseling •Referrals to partner organizations •72-hour residential child care for children, newborn through age 6 •Home Visiting and Adult Mental Health programs
