ECHO Music Therapy

Laura Wilson MT-BC founded ECHO Music Therapy Services, LLC in September 2017 in her hometown Lee's Summit, MO. When Laura began pursuing a Music Therapy degree at the University of Kansas, she envisioned using music to help kids and adults more deeply connect and communicate with people around them. Echo Music Therapy will: Provide Evidence-Based, individualized one-on-one sessions with clients in the comfort of their homes. Provide Group sessions for adults in Assisted living communities to enhance their experiences and quality of life. Provide school based music therapy sessions to promote academic learning and development. Music Therapy is effective in both individual or group settings across all age groups. Gateway180

Gateway180 is the largest Residential Emergency Shelter in the State of Missouri, serving women, children, and families experiencing homelessness. It is our G180 mission to empower adults and families to become independent and permanently housed. We provide a temporary home for 150 women and children daily and provide a clean, safe bed in a nurturing environment in response to an individual's need for emergency shelter. All shelter residents have access to 3 meals daily, day services, children's programs, and newly offered on-site counseling services. Through our Case Management and Empowerment Programs, we transition individuals and families from the trauma of needing emergency shelter, to preparing for the independence of permanent housing and housing stability. Gateway180 also operates client choice Rapid Rehousing Programs. Our Rapid Rehousing Programs enable us to rehouse and provide financial and case management support to individuals and families experiencing homelessness in the St. Louis community. In a typical year, we serve roughly 1,000 individuals, representing roughly 400 households, in our Residential Emergency Shelter Program, and roughly 700 individuals, or 280 households per year during the COVID pandemic. In addition, annually, we serve 125 individuals, representing 50 households in our scattered-site, Rapid Rehousing Program. The organization is committed to the principles of "Housing First" and to evidence-based practices in homeless services including, trauma-informed care, client-centered care, and critical time intervention.

The Women's Clinic of Kansas City

The Women's Clinic of Kansas City is a community supported 501(c)3 pregnancy resource center offering free services to young women who find themselves in an unplanned pregnancy. Our goal is to build healthy families by providing free medical crisis intervention, prevention education, and family development support.
