La Fédération des kinésiologues du Québec est un organisme sans but lucratif, regroupant plus de 1600 membres, dont plus de 1000 kinésiologues accrédités. Les kinésiologues membres de la Fédération offrent des services professionnels dans le domaine de l'activité physique et du mieux-être. Afin de s'assurer d'un service professionnel de qualité, la Fédération exige de ses membres accrédités un diplôme universitaire, l'acceptation d'un code de déontologie ainsi que la réussite d'un examen leur permettant d'exercer leur profession sous le vocable de kinésiologue. Ayant satisfait à toutes ces exigences, la Fédération accorde une confirmation de pratique (numéro de membre) au kinésiologue accrédité lui assurant ainsi le droit d'émettre des reçus destinés à diverses compagnies d'assurances. MISSION La mission de la Fédération des kinésiologues du Québec est de promouvoir les intérêts de ses membres, tout en s'assurant de leurs compétences par un système d'accréditation et de formation continue. La Fédération répond aussi au besoin de protection du grand public en permettant l'accès au réseau des kinésiologues accrédités du Québec.
