1625 Independent People

1625 Independent People is a not for profit voluntary organisation helping young people in the South West to live independently. We provide support for 16-25 year olds in Bristol and the surrounding area who are homeless or at risk of homelessness through housing, skills, confidence building, education, training, jobs and fun. We work to prevent youth homelessness and have been helping 16-25 year olds reboot their lives for over 30 years. Our service works because we respond to young people's needs.

Diepsloot Youth Projects

Diepsloot Youth Projects is a Youth managed Income Generating Non Profit Organization that was established in 2005 to empower the Youth to be responsible citizens in disadvantaged townships. Founded by Neftaly Malatjie. The Organization embraces itself that it excels in Youth Development. Where we reach to needy, desperate, and disabled (Emotionally) and help bring life and dignity back to them Diepsloot Youth Projects has got its status with SARS Tax Exemption & PBO (Section 10A), NPO Act 71 and registered as Section 21 (SARS) Our main focus is "teach a guy to catch a fish, not give a man a fish because he will come to beg again tomorrow" The Organization is managed by 6 Board Committee, 6 Management and 6 Volunteers operating on a daily basis Our core focus is on Children and Youth with a reach of 3000 beneficiaries in all our services that we offer here in the Organization. With the vision we would like to extend the Organization to other places where we are to develop young people.

African Union Development Agency-NEPAD

At the June 2018 AU Assembly a decision was taken to transform the NEPAD Planning and Coordination Agency into the African Union Development Agency-NEPAD (AUDA-NEPAD). The establishment of AUDA-NEPAD is part of the global reforms geared at improving the Union’s impact and operational efficiency. In response to Africa’s emerging needs, AUDA-NEPAD’s strategic priorities for 2022 fall under the following three signature solutions: 1) Health – Focus is on building capacity in the pharmaceutical and manufacturing sector and improving access to essential health care services; 2) Economic growth and job creation through interventions aimed at enhancing infrastructure development, trade and markets and productivity-enhancing innovations, and 3) Food systems, aimed at increasing agricultural and food productivity to ensure food and nutrition security.
