Downtown Lynchburg Association

Downtown Lynchburg Association (formerly Lynch's Landing Foundation) is an accredited program of the Virginia Main Street and the National Main Street Center™, a subsidiary of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. For more than two decades, the organization and the City of Lynchburg have worked together to sustain and develop downtown as a vital economic, cultural, recreational, residential, and historic center for our community. Through marketing initiatives, public space improvements, business engagement programs, cultural events, and more, we have and will continue to contribute to the establishment of a strong and vibrant downtown district. As an organization, we are well positioned to tackle new and recurring challenges to developing Downtown Lynchburg. Downtown Lynchburg Association will continue to be the voice and ambassador for downtown Lynchburg, promoting the cultural resources and business community of downtown. Our staff, committees and volunteers center our work around our adopted mission, to create a strong, vibrant, and welcoming downtown with a unique and historic character.

CherYsh Trust

CherYsh is a registered non-profit organization that strives to enhance learning avenues predominantly for girl children, and livelihood opportunities for resource-poor women in rural India. Since inception in May 2011, CherYsh has been committed to improving the journey from learning to livelihood. Between 2012 and 2015, CherYsh worked with implementation partners to reach 24 villages across Haliyal, Ponda, and Mangalore. 11 After-School Learning Centers were established with a total of 450 students enrolled and led by a Learning Facilitator in each. Over 595 women learned skills for livelihoods and over 288 livelihood opportunities were created. 85 Nursing Scholars were supported, and 2 Community Kitchens were established. Through these projects, CherYsh indirectly reached a population of 24,000. In 2015-16 CherYsh began direct implementation of the Shiksha and Community Kitchen projects. By March 2018, CherYsh has covered a cluster of villages in Haliyal with 35 Shikshas, 35 Learning Facilitators, an enrolment of over 1000 children led by a Learning Facilitator in each Shiksha. CherYsh is running 2 Community Kitchens, and has established 1 Central Kitchen with the Food Safety Standards Certification in progress. 10 Nursing Scholars are being supported. Over 50 women will have acquired skills for livelihoods, and 47 will be earning a livelihood.

The Warren Foundation, Inc.

The Warren Foundation, Incorporated (formerly the Warren Community Cares Foundation) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The mission is to inspire hope and provide assistance to all who strive to better their circumstances through education, job-readiness training, diabetes awareness, and pregnancy and infancy loss awareness. The four key initiatives of the foundation are: Loving Our Angel – Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Road to Excellence – High School Mentoring Sugar + Strife – Diabetes Awareness Welcome Home – Veteran Transition and Education Support

Sie ist der Dachverband von und für Menschen mit chronischen seltenen Erkrankungen und deren Angehörige in Deutschland. Mit ihren mehr als 130 Patientenorganisationen bündelt die ACHSE Expertise und Wissen im Bereich Seltene Erkrankungen und vertritt die Interessen betroffener Menschen. --- The Alliance of Chronic Rare Diseases e.V. - ACHSE - was founded in 2004. It is the umbrella organization of and for people with chronic rare diseases and their relatives in Germany. With more than 130 patient organizations, ACHSE bundles expertise and knowledge in the field of rare diseases and represents the interests of those affected. --- L'Alliance de Maladies Rares e.V. - ACHSE - a été fondée en 2004. C'est l'organisation faîtière des et pour les personnes atteintes de maladies chroniques rares et leurs proches en Allemagne. Avec plus de 130 organisations de patients, l'ACHSE regroupe l'expertise et les connaissances dans le domaine des maladies rares et représente les intérêts des personnes concernées.
