Robert Johnson Architects, was founded in 1988 by Robert Johnson, AIA. He began the firm with a strong focus on design and construction. Robert Johnson's early projects had a strong emphasis on large medical renovations and expansions while developing a versatile commercial clientele. Since 1988, Robert Johnson Architects has diversified into a multitude of commercial projects. These projects include business and medical offices/buildings, industrial facilities, retail upfits/buildings, daycare centers, restaurants, and high-end residential projects. As part of many of these projects, we provide a variety of services.

Site Solutions, Inc.

Founded in 1985, Site Solutions has provided the Carolinas with site planning and civil engineering services for over twenty-five years. We are involved in the planning of numerous educational, institutional, recreational, commercial, and residential projects. We have worked with hundreds of design teams and committees to bring diverse ideas together to form dynamic, innovative design solutions. Each project is viewed as a new opportunity with a unique set of design parameters (development program, budget, schedule and site conditions). We allow these project parameters to dictate our approach to the design solution and work closely with the client to understand their goals and objectives. Once we have an understanding of the client's needs, design solutions are prepared for review with the client. With this approach, we develop alternatives that are fresh, unique and go beyond the ordinary. Today, the firm's sixteen member staff offers clients the services of eleven registered professionals with a wide variety of skills and experiences. When project scope requires skills beyond our in-house capabilities, we team with other design professionals to provide clients with a single source for their site planning needs. With these in-house and strong sub-consultant relationships, we are capable of handling projects of significant scope, while providing clients with uncompromising personal service.

Since its inception in 1995, BenchMark Advisors has focused on providing services to the design and development communities in three areas of expertise: • Conservation Strategies • Development Management • Design Management Working with landowners, developers and consultants, BenchMark incorporates an environmentally sensitive approach to a wide variety of development and design applications. Richard W. Dickinson launched BenchMark Advisors after 23 years of management and marketing experience as managing principal of EDSA / Edward D. Stone Jr. and Associates, an internationally known firm of planners and landscape architects. And since its inception, BenchMark has assisted numerous development entities and professional design firms, with an enviable record of success in each of our practice areas. While BenchMark's goal is to decipher the many complex land planning options and opportunities that are available, it's our management approach, personal service and attention to detail that's making the biggest impact on our clients.
