O Ceitec Associação Civil é uma entidade que foi criada para atuar como braço operacional para a implantação e desenvolvimento de negócios inovadores no setor de Microeletrônica envolvendo tanto atividades de Projeto de CI Integrados como a fabricação de chips. Estas ações sempre tiveram o foco na implantação da empresa CEITEC S.A. Através de suas atividades a Associação tem demonstrado que sua missão é ser um agente no processo de implantação das atividades de projeto de Circuitos Integrados no Brasil e desta forma ter papel ativo na criação de uma base sólida de negócios na área de semicondutores. Assim, o CEITEC Associação Civil vem conduzindo um processo de aproximação de suas atividades com as desenvolvidas pelo NSCAD Microeletrônica e o Centro de Treinamento 1 do Programa CI Brasil com o intuito de expandir as atividades de suporte e treinamento na área de projeto de circuitos integrados (chips).
