Il C.PM. è una organizzazione scientifica fondata a Brescia il giorno 11 Novembre 1986. Dal 2012 è riconosciuto dal MIUR della Regione Lombardia, Regione Veneto e Regione Lazio per stages teorico-pratici di formazione indirizzati al personale della scuola. Il 15-07-2014 con decreto prot.N. AOODPIT.595 il C.PM. è stato accreditato dal MIUR (Ministero dell’Istruzione dell’Università e della Ricerca) Direzione Generale per il Personale scolastico e incluso nell’elenco dei soggetti accreditati/qualificati per la formazione dei docenti di ogni ordine e grado. E’ formato da ricercatori e professionisti (medici, psicologi, pedagogisti, psicomotricisti, psicoterapeuti, logopedisti) che si occupano da circa venti anni della ricerca, della formazione psicomotoria, psicologica, pedagogica, realizzando corsi, seminari, aggiornamenti e supervisioni ad operatori della Sanità, dei Servizi socio-sanitari, della scuola su tematiche anche richieste direttamente da Enti ed Istituzioni pubbliche e private. Ciò per favorire quei processi di cambiamento e completamento che sono alla base dell’operatore qualificato. In particolare si occupa della formazione dello psicomotricista che ha il compito di aiutare il bambino e l’essere umano nelle diverse fasi della vita ad imparare ad utilizzare le capacità e potenzialità al fine di prendere coscienza della propria identità e di rafforzarla, sostenendola a livello motorio, affettivo-relazionale, cognitivo utilizzando il gioco o attività similari che per la loro struttura integrano movimento, percezione di sé rappresentazione simbolica e vissuto emozionale.
