Forest Carbon is a Southeast Asian-based firm that addresses the need for a regionally focused team capable of providing technical and project development services for carbon forestry projects in tropical rainforest countries.
Our team of experts work one-on-one with clients on all aspects of project development, including: historical forest mapping, establishing carbon emission baselines, REDD+ program design, implementation and monitoring systems for forestry projects for the emerging voluntary and compliance carbon markets. We specialize in supporting field-level both project and jurisdictional program development for Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Degradation (REDD+), including the reforestation, conservation and sustainable management of forests.
We understand that the world is locked in an ever-evolving balancing act between the natural systems necessary for sustaining life, the availability of resources from those natural systems and market economies driving the use and sustainability of both. We believe that climate change is a policy and market failure that will continue until the global economy is structured to truly value it's finite resources.
