ATN Solar Car Team

We are a diverse team of undergraduate students, postgraduate researchers and faculty members from five of Australia's most innovative and enterprising universities: QUT, University of Technology Sydney, RMIT University, University of South Australia and Curtin University. We are developing a stylish, efficient and practical solar-electric vehicle to compete in the 2019 Bridgestone World Solar Challenge's Cruiser Class. Our competitive advantage comes from an intelligent mix of youthful enthusiasm, academic rigour and professional experience.

COMPANY OVERVIEW Doncaster BMW has recently had major $20 million redevelopment of our Doncaster operations. The new dealership includes a multi-level showroom with the latest BMW client interaction facilities, as well as a number of customer function spaces including an alfresco area complete with outdoor kitchen. Our state-of-the-art workshop has adopted an environmentally friendly approach where possible within the entire structure with energy saving materials, insulation, natural light and enhanced water recycling with rainwater harvesters.
